Craftmanship

As one would expect there is a high degree of handwork involved in the making of a K.A.Roos original. All the products are manufactured in Scandinavia by craftsmen who continue to preserve the tradtion of Scandinavian furniture making. Each pieace of furniture is individually made, using old fashioned techniques. Cabinets are put together through dovetail joint. You only have to pull out a drawer to appreciate the authentic irregularity of the dovetailing used in the construction. When K.A.Roos talks about handmade, we mean it in the old fashioned sense.

Råvara

Det var inte alltid kvalitetsvirke som de lokala hantverkarna använde sig av under 1700-talet. Idag använder vi oss alltid av bästa tänkbara kvalitet. De träslag vi tillverkar våra möbler av är de typiskt skandinaviska: björk, bok och fur.
